Angelete is a native of Uvalda, Georgia she is the older of two children, she moved to Flint, Michigan at a young age. Angelete married Pastor Dr. Arnold E. Lakes Sr. July 28, 1981 and they are the proud parents of four children and twelve grandchildren. In addition, Angelete has two special daughters that she adopted out of love along with their children.
Angelete graduate from Flint Central High School. In pursuit of higher education she attended Mott Community College and Detroit school of Business where she received as Associate of Business Degree. Angelete was prompted by the Holy Spirit to continue her education at Faith Evangelistic Christian Seminary. There she earned her Bachelor of Christian Education, Master of Christian Education and Master of Divinity. Angelete earned her Doctorate of Theology at Destiny College and seminary in 2008.
This First Lady & Co-Pastor is like none other, her love and concern for the membership and the community is truly felt by all. She labor with her husband to reach the poor in spirit by caring, nurturing, and loving. Co-Pastor Angelete Lakes is leading the “Covenant Women” to their destiny and purpose in God by teaching each woman who they are in Christ, alone with their covenant promises. She is looking forward to this year being a year that dreams and promises will come true! She is inviting all to come and fellowship with us as we fellowship and follows God.
